Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Metaphysical Events (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

Eligibility & Accounts

You must be of the age of majority in your jurisdiction to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current information and to keep it up to date.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Post harmful, abusive, deceptive, or unlawful content;
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity, credentials, or qualifications;
  • Use the Platform for illegal activity or to infringe others' rights;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, data, or other users' accounts;
  • Scrape, overload, or disrupt the Platform or interfere with other users' enjoyment of it.

Subscriptions & Billing

Certain features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are offered in tiers, on monthly or yearly billing cycles, and are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. By subscribing you authorize recurring charges for the applicable fees and taxes until you cancel.

  • Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled beforehand.
  • Managing your plan. You can upgrade, downgrade, pause, or cancel from your billing page, which connects to the Stripe billing portal.
  • Cancellation. When you cancel, you retain access through the end of the current paid period, after which your account reverts to the free tier.
  • Refunds. Refund eligibility is described in our Refund Policy.

Practitioner & Business Listings

Practitioner-tier subscribers may create business listings and post events. If you publish a listing or event, you represent that you are authorized to do so and that the information — including credentials, modalities, location, pricing, and event details — is accurate and lawful. Listings may be reviewed and credentials verified before publication, and we may decline, edit, or remove any listing or event that violates these terms. Metaphysical Events is a venue that connects users with practitioners; we do not employ, endorse, or guarantee any listed practitioner or the services they provide.

User Content

You retain ownership of the content you create or upload (readings, journal entries, profiles, listings, media). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, and display that content as needed to operate the Platform and to make content you choose to publish visible to others. You are responsible for your content and must have the rights to share it. You may remove your content or delete your account at any time as described in our Privacy Policy.

The tools and content on this Platform — including tarot, runes, astrology, the grimoire, and related materials — are provided for entertainment and personal growth purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. Third-Party Services & Links

The Platform may link to or integrate third-party services (for example, payment, storage, and affiliate links in the shop). We are not responsible for the content, products, or practices of third parties, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Metaphysical Events and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Platform. The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

Termination

You may stop using the Platform and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or if necessary to protect the Platform or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as disclaimers and limitations of liability) will continue to apply.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction specified by the operator (insert governing law and venue here). Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with that jurisdiction's rules.
