Refund Policy

Overview
This policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for the two kinds of payments on Metaphysical Events: recurring subscriptions and one-time shop purchases. All payments are processed by Stripe. Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you may have under the consumer-protection laws of your jurisdiction.
Subscriptions
- Cancelling. You can cancel any time from your billing page, which connects to the Stripe billing portal. When you cancel, your paid features remain available through the end of the current billing period, after which your account reverts to the free tier.
- Renewals. Subscriptions renew automatically. Because you can cancel before any renewal to avoid the next charge, renewal charges are generally non-refundable once they occur. Insert your specific refund window for recently renewed subscriptions here (for example, a stated number of days).
- Pauses, upgrades & downgrades. You can pause or change your plan from the billing page; proration and credits, where applicable, are handled by Stripe according to the plan change.
One-Time Shop Purchases
- Physical goods. If you receive a physical product that is defective, damaged, or not as described, contact us within the return window (insert window) for a replacement or refund. Return shipping and condition requirements may apply.
- Services & inquiries. Partner-service inquiries placed through the shop are lead requests, not completed purchases; any fees and refund terms for the service itself are set by the providing party.
Digital Goods
Downloadable and digital products (for example, PDF guides) are delivered immediately and are generally non-refundable once access or download has been provided, except where required by law or where the item is faulty. If you cannot access a digital item you purchased, contact us and we will make it right.
Affiliate Products
Some shop items are affiliate links to external retailers. Those purchases are made on the retailer's own site and are subject to that retailer's refund and return policies, not ours.
How to Request a Refund or Raise a Dispute
To request a refund or raise a billing dispute, reach us through our contact page with your account email and the relevant order or subscription details. We aim to respond within a reasonable time and will work with you to resolve the issue. For subscription management you can also use your billing page directly.
